I used to engineer coils for a reputable suspension company for a living, i should know.
Like i said before, SHOCKS are what CONTROLS the RIDE of a vehicle, not the springs.

OME haven't engineered the springs for the CRD 2.8 KJ - they used either the petrol KJ or the old 2.5 CRD which was lighter. Those OME springs are too soft.....and I think you'll agree before too long - let's wait and see.
Obviously you define ride differently to me, because the OME springs provided a nice soft comfortable ride, but their softness created control issues at speed when cornering, and off-road they bottomed out way too easily - at least they did on my 05 CRD with a 70kg ARB bar stuck on the front! No shock can compensate for the fact that a certain spring is too soft for a particular vehicle, or dampen the compression and rebound of a spring whose rate is such that it can't control the load placed upon it.....
Still, it'll be interesting to see how the spring rates of the OME springs compare with your factory CRD springs (if you get them measured). I believe they are a lot different to the springs found in the petrol KJ's.
