Its all done, they replaced the rotors & pads under warranty, they appear to be different pads to mopar, I can just see some writing Green Stuff is the brand name.

I just got my front rotors and pads changed again under warranty at 17500km's!

Talked to the techs at the dealership and they told me that they have some aftermarket ones 'RDA' brand which are better than the Jeep ones and would recommend them to solve the problem as they last a lot longer. $130 a side.

At this rate, I'll be getting free rotors and pads for the life of the vehicle - as DC will only cover them up to 20000ks - I haven't gone past 10000ks for a set yet.

it isn't just the kj's in two years of owning a tj it has been in dealer workshops for warrenty related work for no less than 3 months. I could bash out the massive list of crap and examples of the extremely poor service provided by DCA and it's dealer network, but i don't have all day and it is the wrong thred.

SO whats with the replacing of the brakes n pads ect ? are you guys experiencing that warped rotor feeling ?

why would they replace with aftermarket pads ? Green Stuff ? thats a performance brake pad for track days ! lol!

Wilmo, did you mean DBA not RDA ?

yes, vibration in the steering wheel on application of brake - especially above 60km/h

Definitely RDA not DBA as I asked them the same question thinking they had it wrong....

I have the EBC Greenstuff pads too!
