Great pic - that's what I was looking for.

It doesnt seem to be a steering box, as the KJ's have a rack & pinion setup, but by the looks, the have kept the rack and adapted a steering linkage to it !! NOW THATS GOOD ENGINEERING !!!!!! WOW!! By the looks it would be fairly user freindly too !

The front Tierod wouldnt be much of an issue with the 35's i'd say, + it wouldnt be that hard to do a top mount tierod conversion, but for the simplicity of the 'kit' I think its quite good.........that tierod looks like a laminated one anyway, plenty of strength.

It is the standard rack and pinion steering with that bar looped under to connect both sides. The drag link is then attached to that. They actually had the tie rods sitting on top but had to switch to underneath when it interfered with something.

wow, nice. Thats a really good setup, I like it. I've never seen the "adapted rack" setup before, my hat goes off to the guy that thought of it.

Ahhh, now I see it, I was looking for an XJ style steering and was having trouble working out what was what, now I know it's rack and pinion it all makes sense That's very neat.
