Because it pollutes the air and drips more oil onto the road, which is dangerous for other motorists and motorcyclists like me.

Because it is a bit irresponsible, just like driving a car with dripping oil leaks or bald tyres.

Sounds like a very effective unit, wonder how it would work on petrol engines ?

There's a surprising amount of blow by oil that gets into the intake manifold.

About 80%of the heavy vehicles on the road still have a system like this...blowby filter and then vented to atmosphere.

All new vehicles now have to contain the blowby to meet vehicle emissions and they are routed back into the manifold.

Personally, my Isuzu was filtered and then vented to atm but my JK is routed back into the manifold.

My isuzu was not even wet at the outlet to atmosphere so would not have dripped any oil whatsoever... Although....you could always point the outlet at the exhaust manifold and use that to burn any left over oil emissions!

Im joking! In case anyone cant "hear" my tone!

Matt.
