Default Spring hitting bump stop

Hi guys,

I recently replaced my sagged 2” OME front springs and noticed that the rhf spring touches the bump stop. The old spring did it a lot but the new not as much. When I was wheeling just yesterday I had a closer look at it and the bump stop looks to be off centre. Any thoughts? Cheers Steve.

2009 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon auto.

Hard to see why the RHF bumpstop would be off centre unless it has been re-jigged for some reason. More than likely an issue with the springs. I originally put OME springs on the JKU Rubi (07) and I thort they were crap. Took them off cos contrib to deathwobble, springs too long and constantly bent out of shape etc etc and sagged like... after a few thousand Km.

Went with Lovells 2"lift HD... have heavier steel, thicker steel and have had these on for 150K no probs. .They sit dead centre over the bumstops. Get rid of the OME gear...is what I say

Oh, and while the OME shocks r good, and a little on the harsh side i found that the rear ones hit the framework on the rear axle so took them off as well. Now use Bilstein 5100 all round and love them...

Hope this helps
