Default Expert Jeep Servicing in Charlestown, Newcastle.
Found a mechanic who is an expert on Jeeps in Charlestown, Newcastle. He is a Yank named Charlie (It has to be Charlie) and has 2 Jeeps of his own. Took my update 98 Cherokee to him and he diagnosed the problem in 10 seconds flat. Reckons he has access to cheaper Jeep parts than anyone else in Newcastle. He trades as Charlestown Automotive at 223 Pacific Highway Charlestown, in the same yard as the Auto Electrician, opposite the Picture Theatres and has a phone 0249424472. That is the only job I have had done there and he seems really good. Saw 2 other Jeeps there and he seems busy enough for a one man band.

Abit of a revival but I just used this to contact him and he is very helpfull, a good choice of a mechanic in the Newcastle area

Update on Charlestown Automotive

Charlie sold the business about 12 months ago to a new guy named Simon. He was really nice, honest and very helpful. Still does more than his far share of jeeps. Had my MY14 GC 3.0L serviced their last week. Was $731, opposed to $1171 at hunter star jeep

I was just about to post that Charlie hasn't run that business for a while now.

Another one but a bit further out is Shents in Wyong. Or Hunter 4x4 in Lemon Tree passage.
