Default i need a new indicator plug!!

so i went to change something on the front of my JK, i pulled the grill off and went to disconnect the indicator plugs, unfortunately someone who owned the car previously has spliced some other wire onto the loom. end result the wire became weak and broke, i couldnt rejoin the wire as it was so close to the plug, i cant seem to figure out how to pull the plug apart to re terminate the cables inside, ive searched around to find out what part it is and where i can get it but have had no luck, does anyone have any idea? its the part in the guys had on the left

The pin and wiring is pushed in form the back end and there is a locking tab on the pin. As you don't know about this I would not recommend taking a very small screwdriver to the plug.
Best solution is an auto electrician who will have the tool to push the pins out for you.. takes about 30 secs - maybe get the guy to repair the wire while he is in there?
Another great tool for the DIY person ...

you can't just reconnect the wire to the pin (solder?) and plug it back in ?? ..
Standard practice?

Where the cable had been damaged and broke off is right at the back of the plug. Its not ever possible to strip the sheath of of what's left of the cable

k .. still auto electrician .. a good one has all this .. unless you do the wrecker, but then you will still have to splice it in.

Escapable has the right idea. Pull terminal from connector plug, carefully and neatly resolder wire to the terminal, and reassemble.
While your at it relocate the spliced wires away from the connection. This is a stressed area for the wire and you dont want extra strain from additional wires pulling right at the terminal. These repairs are fiddly but unfortunately we get to do a fair few of them.
