Mine also has jeep bash plates so that is a measurement to the plate.

Hutch-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Blackhawk..CRD feel the power.

Thanks again. That is quite good ground clearance. Mine is currently about 210-215mm in the front. Do you happen to have the measurement from wheel centre to wheel arch?

Ok from the middle of the wheel to the guard is 520, under the front bash plate I have 265mm, I am running 275/55/20 tyres which probably equals about 18mm I think, so maybe around 245mm with std tyres. Based on your measurements probably only 35mm lift which is all I was after. The main number for me is 265 under the bash plate, I didnt have that much in my lifted prado.

Default suspension lifts for WK2

Thanks. As the Murchison lift provide a greater lift than Dobinsons it might be the better option.

There's currently about 465-470mm between wheel centre and bottom of wheel arch in the front and about 505mm in the rear.

Hi J33Pster,
I have the Murchinson kit as well. Just like Hutch, no top plates, just the springs. At first, I had front shocks from Dobinsons... Clunk noise all over the place. After two sets of new shocks, I decided to go back to the stock ones... No noise at all!

Until Bilstein produce a shock for the WK2, I reckon the stock dampers are probably the best bet for most drivers. As far as stock suspension goes, I have been blown away by my bog stock 2015 Laredo...it is literally light years ahead of any 4x4 ive owned in terms of ride, handling and NVH control.

Thanks for the latest comments. I'm wondering whether I go with using the top plates initially as it's included in the kit. I could always have it removed later on. That way I could maximise lift but reduce the amount of lift later on if there's any issues. Out of interest Wipass - how much lift did you get front and rear without using the top plates?

Rear: 60mm
Front: 70mm

I'm waiting for the Chief winch mount, so front will go down a little bit... I told Dave from Uneek and he ordered the kit that goes with the bullbar.

Pretty happy with the configuration!
