Default OEM Skid plates

Howdy folks, has anyone had experience purchasing factory skid plates. Are they good value as compared to non genuine ones and are they of good quality.
I recently had the wires on the transfer case sensor pull out of the wiring connector. Great to think that you cant drive through a paddock in a 4x4 and this happens.
But not surprised considering the quality I have experienced so far. New fuel pump, fuel rail and water pump all within 10,000klm. Lots of inconvenience and lost time. I want the skid plates to give added protection under the vehicle.

I just bought the mopar skid plates through Bayside Automotive for $835 delivered to Perth. Best price i could find and good value to me considering it consists of 5 plates. It doesn't cover the sump area or transmission so you'll have to get extra plates from Uneek or Chief to cover those areas.
Im not aware of non genuine plates that cover the fuel tank, transfer and axle being available?
We've gone to some pretty hairy places with our WK2 pre lift and skid plates and have never damaged anything underneath.. Except for ripping off the plastic covers thru a bog hole but that doesn't really count.

That sounds like a good price. Do you have a contact person/number. I'm keen to get a set of skid plates.

My car is factory fitted with the Mopar skid plates and they are very tough. The kit i have on my car covers both the engine sump and transmission but there is no protection in front of the sump so I got a Uneek on fitted (the first one in fact).

PM sent J33Pster,
Not sure what the forum rules are re posting email addresses. You can find the listing on eBay as well but only for the petrol version. Have to contact them directly for the skid plates to suit the ecodiesel.

Trailhawk, are you saying your OEM skid plates came with a transmission plate as well?

Thanks MP14, I think it's better to share contact details privately.
