Gotcha. I just put my head down and pretended I wasn't paying for fuel all the way over. Should be interesting when the credit card statement arrives! Yikes.

Anyway I've been deliberating over tyres and wheels when this morning I was looking thru the Jeep Heep and found a bonus I forgot I had. A few months ago I bagged a set of Wagoneer alloys all with ************ tyres, dude gave me the "other jeep wheels" he had in the shed

Bit of a scrub up and I've gone from what's shown above to this
I'm pretty happy with the result for zero dollars. Always liked this exact tyre wheel dress rim combo on these things. 2" lift might be nice though.

Yes you do. Go get one. I think some deals are there to be had from guys selling their jeeps unregistered. Good as long as you're not afraid to do a bit of work. It's up to us now to keep these things alive. Too many dudes just can't be rsed and let rego lapse. The guy I got the blue one from left it to his wife whilst he was away at work. The f arked that up so it was a goner and then he showed me his 360 Cj7 Laredo which she let lapse as well!!! Grounds for divorce I say but ultimately it was his fault.

Anyway Andy go get a big jeep and do your part for the cause. I got a feeling that burgundy Chief on gumtree might be heading west sometime soon. Now THAT is a machine is like to own.
