@Milky01 Your bumpstops are governed by tyre clearance and closed shock length youll need to cycle the suspension to workout whats required. Im running 35s and Hi steer so I need 3" bumpstops minimum to prevent fouling on 4" lift. At 2" depending on tyres you not need any bumpstops

We picked based on weights yes, however factors such as spring rate will impact on the shocks significantly, figures which I was unable to get during set up. Depending on whether your car is in the same weight range I would probably get the compression stack in the fronts a little lighter if I was to do it again (my fronts are set to 1), rears were spot on, but I have a heavy rear end with fridge and 2nd optima and tools etc. Rebound thus far is pretty good. Still playing with settings with front swaybar disconnected.

I dont run rear sway bar, 4" King springs I can ask for spring rates easy enough. Im running Dual batteries in front Bullbar, winch, Sliders, skid plates, Long range tank, AEV rear bar, 35" spare, batteries in cubby hole in rear, Frontrunner floor slide and shelf Fridge, recovery gear and all the normal camping crap. I reckon it'd easily be 2500kgs but will weight it front/rear.

At 2" lift you should be right without bumpstop extensions unless you are running big tyres.
I left the OEM Lovell 2" springs in mine and changed the OEM 2" shocks with Fox and haven't had any issues on 265/70/17s.

Thanks mate, I was mainly worried about the shocks bottoming out as it looks like their compressed length is ~1.5" longer than stock.
Some people say rear bump stops aren't required but sometimes front, I guess it also depends on how much stock shock travel is left when at bump.

they are OK however they lack rebound dampening unless they are cranked up and then the compression is too stiff, as an aside I did a Tarmac hill climb with them cranked to 9 and beat several 911 Porsches so for a sloppy solid axle 4wd they do ok.
In my humble opinion the spring should hold the weight of the car, truck the compression rate should be soft to allow for a comfy ride with the rebound stiff to stop undue oscillations and body roll,
The Rancho adjustability is handy as at the moment I'm running no rear sway bars so I have the rears tighter than I normally would.
Road car handling 101 suggests that your front end should be tighter than your rear.
