I'm running 3" Lift in my 2003 WJ CRD. I need an adjustable panhard rod. IRO reckon that you need minimum 4" for RHD CRD's but 3" for v8...I have asked them specifically why I can't use it at 3" and the response I got:

"You have to have 4” to clear the differential and components when your suspension moves up and down. "

Correct me if I'm wrong but the front diff is the same on the CRD's as the v8's right?

Has anyone got any experience with this that they can shed some light on it? Who's actually running one of these panhards?

Do I just bite the bullet and get it here....maybe modify it if it doesn't work?

I reckon you'd be OK, can't see you needing a 4" bar.

they are probably referring to other components, such as the sump or if there is something else lower in the engine bay the bar or diff could hit.

Yes I have fitted a JK panhard rod to my WJ. Minimal adjustments needed. Only a small amount of grinding into the lower mounting bracket needed to fit

I'm a pro with a grinder... (I own a jeep after-all)..

Are you running an adjustable pan-hard or a factory one? What needs grinding? Any pics?
