That sounds like you went for a different one to the one I spoke to you about on the phone.
How come the change?

That 95 ended up a dud with an almost certain head gasket problem. Also, after talking to him again, he told me he used the vehicle for towing the horsefloat. After much agonising, pulled the pin because I just wasn't sure.

Then seriously looked at a 94 limited with 198k on the clock, but it was an unloved vehicle with NO history at all and his price expectations were unreasonable. BUT it had so much more go than the horse float vehicle, vindicating that decision.

This one is from a dealer, with 3 yr warranty, contract is subject to the exhaust manifold getting fixed. It's just a stock standard 96 but it went cheap cause of the hi miles. Also the leak made it sound poor on idle which had put people off.

Still at the yard getting roadworthied and getting the EXHAUST MANIFOLD WELDED!!

Thanks to all that have answered some of my dumb questions over the last couple of weeks. It has helped me to spot "normal" problems straight away and as a result got a good deal [img]tongue.gif[/img] .
