Nothing special just replaced the gas struts in the back. She hasn't been started for a week

installed a new LHS engine mount and a new trans mount, oh and a new air filter

Got a replacement exhaust header for it, including removing them off the donor ZJ. At least I know what's involved to do the install on the XJ!

Today I fabricated a installation/storage cradle to fit the transfer case to make it easier to fit due to the odd shape, will find out tomorrow how succesful it is...

suprisingly enough it doesnt seem that bad, for an xj that is. without the tyre or the tent i would use a qtr of a tank to do 200km and with the tent up top it went a touch past the qtr mark on the gauge, so instead of getting the normal 500km il be expecting about 400km, actually sounds pretty bad when you say it like that, mind you its carryin a lot of weight now to. with the storage draws the fridge and the tent, poor things probly not desinged for that much weight

Received my snorkel. Was suprised that it came with a very complete kit as normally u always find that something is missing! Just gotta work up the courage to drill that big hole in the side!
