Ie. run the negative on the compressor back to the (-) on the battery rather than just to ground?
sorry I'm a bit new to the whole auto wiring thing and I want to make sure I do it correctly.

should note the extra fuse isn't necessary (between compressor and relay) it just happens to be already on the compressor wiring and no point in me removing it.
