Default diff breathers extending to air box?

Researching the diff breathers extensions subject, I just stumbled across the following:

http://riverraider.biz/index.php?mai...fitj4282o1qrl3

The description suggests that the breathers are terminated in the air box. While the idea seems clever, the breathers may spit stinking oil into the air box and create a mess there.

Has anyone done that? Opinions? Experiences?

Given the suction possible in the airbox that might be a good way to pull oils out of hot devices connected to the breather hose. I have heard of people taking the breather tube up to the Snorkel head, but I think that was to terminate it outside of the head and not in a suction prone location.

I dont think it would create enough suction to draw oil out of the diffs, and considering every car made for the last 20-30 years has a pcv that recirculates oil fumes into your intake i cant see it being a bad thing from that angle either.

extend your diff breathers to the highest point in your engine bay (on the firewall or somthing) and put an old school clear plastic fuel filter on the ends of your lines. Will never suck in any crap when your diffs rapidly cool when crossing creeks and rivers etc.
