I had a 315 on a steel rim on the original carrier for about five years, no problem.

The wheels do poke a tad, to avoid scrub on flex I will need a tad larger bump stops at the rear, the fronts are fine.

I believe that the wheels are 16x8" and has a 4.25" backspacing.
