Smartass trick if you want to sacrifice the crappo std foglights (mine fell off with the std bar) is to rewire fog light switch to work on hi-beam & switch the spotlight relay. No drilling or extra wires thru firewall, but still a PITA.

Kel. Dont rush into fitting 100w bulbs. After tiring of the glare from my Cibie lights I have ditched the 100w bulbs in favour of 55w 'blue' bulbs. Lotsa BLING but so far I am pretty impressed. Initially look like less light but I feel they give better visibility & are certainly less tiring to look thru.

It'll depend on the quality of your lights tho. I am now trying to source similar bulbs for the headlights as they look dirty yellow by comparison.

yes ppl...have been through that.....remember there are always different specces' between the yank produced and Austrian produced vehicles and while that web site is first class I keep finding differences in there...

it is still worth discussing our experiences here with our first hand info'n.......so lets not be afraid to keep asking (silly ) questions of each other.

Thanks for your input Tricky.....we share the towing theme and I'd love to here more of your experiences as they occur. We are getting a good little band of GC owners here and this is all good
Kel

ps. Bill, you like to travel behind the bloke with bright lights so he gets all the bugs splat first hey.
