How did you 'accidentally' blow the engine? Low oil?

WHERES MINE!!!??? LOL
no , not as yet , my timing chain set turned up today (YAY) time to start to get this crank to a decent machine shop and get the engine out and pull that No 8 rod and check it for "out of round" im thinking of trying a Autel MD802 scanner for clearing the memory in the module , see if the bugger will work , but a costly way to find as there price is around $350 its just finding the ELM pinning and a software ? but NO NO JEEP went to CAN in 2005 . I accidently blew my engine and got an alleged lower km newer one 2003 with maybe 120k kms it started at about 18lph and i think on my trip to tasmania i could only get 15-16lph

should i reset the BCM? and if so how.

Part 2: My hydrolic thermo fan is on its way out is this a serviceable part or do i have to source a new/ 2nd hand one
if a clutch thermo fan goes it will slip ALL TIMES , if you drill a hole and lock it up to stop it , then no wonder using fuel , if you didn't change the plugs ? or do correct oil change or using correct oil , or if trans slipping from incorrect trans fluid , if your tyres are incorrect pressure ? you say 2001 hydrolic fan ? I thought they didn't come around till 2002 models ? mmmmm any hoo list goes on ,

Ah yes. Didn't think of doing it in a wrap. I was going to do it in Plasti Dip so I could reverse it but couldn't work out how to do the red strip with masking tape over the Plasti Dip not being that successful.

Is that just a matt or satin black wrap.

I've not seen any talk of them being repairable but they don't seem to stuff up that often. What is it actually doing or not doing. At one point it was discovered even the relay/solenoid that triggers the fan was not available separately but someone found a Ford item that could be made to work without too much drama. Could it be that the solenoid is stuffed and not actually the fan.

I accidently blew a seal once, it was a dark night in a dimly lit room, I'd had a lot of beers but that's a story for another day.
