Where'd you get the bearing kit from?
And where can you get the retainer plate from?

Cheers.
I got this ebay kit: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171436530...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I like using local ebayers if I can.

I did a little research, and couldn't find febest bearing problems. My WG doesn't do many k's, that sais I will keep an eye on it for sure. The ebay seller was very awesome when Aussie Post mucked up.

The wheel bearing and race is one piece, you can't seperate them. It came chokkas with white lithium looking grease.

Having said all that, here is a good Timken kit deal on ebay too. Also from Melbourne, same price: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JEEP-GRAN...item53ede2f8af

Also from Melbourne

I found it a bit hard to get a retainer plate in a kit here. But didn't spend hours searching.

There are a few great bearing suppliers here in Geelong, I was too busy at the time of ordering to go in person and get a kit. After I ordered the kit...found a few days off

The bearing came in a German febest box. German engineering numbers on the box, but didn't say where it was made. So...probably China.

The seal and bearing thick ring retainer collet came in a bag. I didn't read the print on the seal sorry

If I was anyone else looking at the two bearing kits I listed...I'd go the Timken kit.

I have only used Timken bearings for the diff carriers and pinion bearings. They aren't a 40 minute job to change

Finally picked up a skid for the transfer case today, 25 bucks well spent, for this I had the pleasure of ferreting through a bunch of parts in the rolled WG that was balanced on top of another car in the yard, now to find some bolts for it.
