head bolts turned up today , now waiting for pan gasket and seals to show ,
and still waiting for EM cable to show , I take it that the Sydney airport strike STILL going on.

took out the air bag module and checked the connections from clock spring to the connecter to the air bag module , two wires have a short (making a connection together) so that one of the squibs is shorting !! wonder how many others are like this ? so the dark green is shorting with the black one . mmmm time to unravel find out where they are connecting.

I think there was a tsb out for that very problem? I know right when I got my wg the previous owner had just got a letter in the main about a harness for airbags and it needed replacing.

what I got to try and find is should the twisted wires have a short between them when the connectors are pulled out , I have pulled out the module , the clock spring and the passenger air bag , yet it still shows shorts. thinking of setting in new wires.

Mate you need to go back to the HQ Holden. Airbags and you definitely have some sort of incompatibility thing happening.
