Newbie - Perth 97 Tj

Howdy all - I'm Rossco - Based in Perth (funnily enough)

New 'kid' on the block.....
(Have been around it a few times though)

I picked up my Tj last week - Loving it so far

I'm an X-CJD parts specialist so I know my way around a Jeep (bonus)

I can't claim the build on her but I will be doing a few more mods over time.

Anywhoo here she is:
97 TJ Renegade 4.0 Auto

Rubicon Express short arm 3.5" lift
Rubicon Express Mono tube shocks

Bestop Highrock Front bar with grille protector loop

So far I've sorted out a couple of issues I found in the first few days of ownership (haha typical) :

1.DW & steering play issue it had (front axle Panhard rod axle mount flogged out - I plated it, re-drilled it & fitted larger diameter bolt) - sorted! Way better to drive now.

2. Lazy auto trans/ no kickdown - re-adjusted the kickdown (TV) cable - crisper shifts, kicks down at 2/3 throttle now too.

So that's it for now - hopefully I'll see some of you at the powerlines soon
