Default I'm contemplating buying a KK

As the title suggests, im thinking about buying a KK (2011 LIMITED, CRD), i am coming off my 5th Wrangler (pic of my current one attached), i don't do too much hard core off-road these days, so don't need the wranglers capabilities, but still want to be able to get away and have some fun.. the wrangler costs far too much to run around in as i am on the road for work, hence im looking at the CRD.

Im a little concerned that the KK might be a little too soft in comparison to the wrangler, so my question is, how do you find them offroad? What lifts are the best to consider (2.5 to 3.5 inch would be as high as i would go), what tyre size can you get under them.

Im also interested to understand if there are any tell tale signs i should look for on the diesels, that would indicate a problem, are there any common issues to look out for?

Thanks in advance guys [emoji106]

You forgot to attack a pic of your JK Wrangler.

For your interest the new JL Wrangler, when driving on road, is as refined as a car.

I love my KK . But you might enjoy the drive of the KK. You will be disappointed in after market sector for the beefing it up .compared to the Wrangler . The KK is still capable .I have Murcinson lift in mine .handles great and IFS is IFS off road .the electronics off road make up for it . It suprized me .as not having lockers where it will go. As for everthing else i think they are great .as you know the 2.8 CRD is the same in jeeps , Holden Colorado' and LDV's. Not sure what else . So you know they are good..i know my old TJ was better offroad . But dam my KK is way better on road lol . And still dam good off road .but will never be a Wrangler. So you know as for Jeeps I can compare as I have owed A KJ,TJ, and Currently a WK2,KK and a WJ
