Default Possible snorkel kit for KK

Think I've found a possible cheap snorkel kit for the KK.

A Pajero NM, NP. Seems to have the right traits for an inside the guard fitment. Toss away the 'J' bend, use the low profile Z tube to get to the airbox and then custom make something into the airbox with a flange. Would need some 'straightening'.
And best of all it's $88 shipped)!
ebay PREMIUM-Snorkel-Kit-Mitsubishi-Pajero-NM-NP-2000-2006-Diesel-Petrol

I might just have to get one for that money and give it a go. Having a good run this week. I also got a snorkel kit for my Pathfinder this week, usually $495 + freight, got one from NZ specifically for my diesel, for $195!

Found another one...looking for vehicles with flat vertical sides, like the LandRover and Defender 110. Dont think this one is going to be cheap, and still need a lot of under guard and bonnet plumbing. €199. But looks nice! Bet it would be the best fitting to the KK.

Mercedes w460 G series:

And the Cibex version, yours for only €288!

Default KK Snorkel

Pajero snorkel arrived. Not as good as I thought, but doesn't look impossible either. Bit of cutting and welding / glueing / heat moulding. Gotta take the guard off too and have a good look underneath. Think I'll have to cut a bit of closed cell high density foam to fill some gap against the bottom of the snorkel and the guard, if I cant remodel it as well as I want to.

Door opens, bonnet has clearance to open.
