Default JK air recirculation flap motor

My Wrangler is making the click click click noise when starting the cabin fan. Pretty annoying....there are YouTube video's for left hand drive....just wondering what folk have been here with this repair...cheers

I have checked mine in the past. It's just behind the glovebox. On my '08, I just open the glovebox, squeeze the sides in a bit to drop it out & remove to access the area.

The cabin inlet screen to the fan on mine was not easily removable as mine didn't have the cabin air filter. but with only a couple of snapped clips it is now!

Hey mate,

I have replaced both my actuators. The blend door and heat control one.

Its quite easy, the actuators can be found for like 50$ online and you just need some small tools and patience to remove the 2 bolts holding them on. If the sound it killing you at the moment you can always reach in and unplug them.
