Talking Commander is Awesome

Drove the new commander yesterday. It is awesome!!! Can't believe the power the diesel gets. So quiet too. Only complaint is the third row of seats has no footwell, but then only rugrats will be sitting in it. Wifey had a drive too. Her first question was, "So when do I get one?"

I saw the TV ad today. They clearly stated that the commander had seating for 7 ADULTS. Hmmm... maybe. Looks cool but

I also took this for a drive yesterday..

The visibility in this thing pisses all over grand cherokee's in every way shape and form... both front and back is improved.

The far rear seats so sit adults, I was so picky I sat in them and pulled the frist set of back seats up to check it out.. It's not that bad...

The handling of the car is fantastic.. the 4x4 capability is great.. however the departure angle is not as good as the other models.. IMHO.

The underbody is protected very well, I not sure if the grand cherokee has the same sort of protection, the plating was atleast 8mm thick.

My favourite feature of the car would have to be the tier seating and the most amazing sound system I'm had in a car yet..

I've applied for finance already .

The only downside it no roof-racks.. but with a channeling down each side, I'm sure ARB can put something up, just not sure how it would look!.
