Do you have a VIN? Might be able to glean some original build info from that...

Good spotting. The way the door partially covers the fuel filler recess is suss.

Edit: Just spent a bit on Google and couldnt find any doors like them. Most hard doors follow the curved body line. Some square ones but quite different.

I have seen a few of these over the years. Most in that condition. The doors have always looked rudimentry on the others I have seen as well.
I beleive they were buit in Brisbane at the Salisbury plant, cut down CJ5 tubs. The CJ5 tubs were also extended to make the CJ6.
Gary Hammond would be the best person to ask. If you send Mark an email and photo's at Hammonds he will pass to Garry and I am sure he would tell you some facts from the horses mouth.

Heres a few pics...they are factory tops and doors.. some had the cut outs on the doors some didn't ...if it has the F-134 motor it will be earlier if it has the 6cyl ford motor from factory it will be a later model ..its hard to tell from the pics but it sure looks like it has the borg warner rear diff which has semi floating axles instead of the 2 piece that that dana used ...if it has a borg warner front axle the diff centre (pumpkin) will be the same size as the rear but the axles tubes will be necked down...also some F-134 had the borg warner gear and some 6cyl jeeps also had it...cheers mick

Thanks for the info Mick, mine is the shorter wheelbase of 100", I'm unsure as to whether or not to keep it original or think about a transplant onto Hilux chassis and running gear.
