Default Looking at goin topless. These worth looking at??

Excuse me CJers,
I've been watching this chassis, and it's been on again off again for a while. Getting cheaper all the time. I'm wondering if there is something the matter with it. It's too far for me to just pop over and have a look.

Does anybody know anything about it, or can pop around for a squiz for me?

Thanks in advance peoples.....

cheers

Hey, thanks for the reply man.

Finally got to have a look on the pc. It look like, to me, all the body mounts are missing.

Dunno if that would be much of a problem or not??
Dunno what the deal is with regards to installing your own body mounts.

I'm also interested in another CJ3B. It's a fibreglass replica, on a tidy chassis. Doesn't come with diffs though. The tub is a rough but usable, apparently.

Don't know if that's worth picking up....???? Only thing putting me off with the fibreglass one is the distance. It's in ACT, I'm Near the QLD border....

The fiberglass one just doesn't tick the right boxes for me. I think the end result would look too homemade and rego?
Just my opinion though.

I think that's why I'm not jumping on it. There's something about it..... something that... doesn't say Willys. Does that make sense?
The rear corners don't look right either...

You would have a hell of a time registering that chassis as would not have an original VIN number.

Thanks Gojeep.
Yes, that was one of my concerns, which I never brought up, as I decided to err on the side of caution.
For the time being, I've decided to stay with XJs. A little more affordable.

That's an oxymoron, I think.[emoji4]
