I tried to help a Pootrol with same thing the other day. But then stopped as I sussed it out the thick dark clay would have rendered me stuck also. I have no idea why he thought taking on a 80-90cm muddy trench in the rain would be a good idea? I then asked him how is this track further up. He said no worries, but as I found out muddy and full of ruts, great... It took me two days to get the mud off.

was not fun at all. the road was good for 2kms and that part of the road looked fine till the waight of the xj hit it and down she went.
good old logs under the tyres and some digging got me out
Speaking of bogged cars, I spent all day cleaning my interior from Easter weekend, carpet is throwaway so just thinking of painting the floor with some body deadener

reinforced my steel bar to take a winch and put in that winch, cut front guards and got new wiring for the winch, to put the control bow in the cabin..... all good and works a treat!!!!
