Default Teraflex 8.25 disc brake conversion

Has anyone done this conversion? I have an 8.25 29 spline rear. Main reason for converting is to prevent the wheel from falling off if an axle is snapped. How likely is this to happen to an 8.25? I know they are a lot stronger than the D35s.

Is the kit in itself easy to install? Are the rotors and pads an off the shelf item when it comes time to replace them?

Thanks for the input.

That's what I am still planning to use, I've even drilled my housing to use the Zg diff breather (it's in a different location to the Xj) as I am using all the lines from the Zg, I also plan to use the Zg cables and make a spacer for the handbrake cable....

I have all the parts for a ZJ conversion, the backing plate just needs to be removed from the diff (axles out). I also have the spacer/mount from the LJ (it ran a D44 with disk rear) if anyone is interested. I don't know if it will all bolt up to the 8.25 though.

Cheers
Steve
