Default Trans Temp monitoring

Not sure if everyone is already aware of this....

The 'Drive' Android App has just been updated to work on the 2011/2012 Wranglers - previously it only worked on 07-10.

http://drive02.com/

Displays Trans temp, coolant temp and intake air temp - and can display/clear error codes.
Can also set an alarm on the trans temp if required.

I'm using it with a basic eBay Bluetooth OBD2 sender and it works well.

Cheers

James

There was a recall on auto JK's to add the transmision over heat warning, had it done to my 08 Jk, it even works, dash warning lights up with the ding ding & puts engine in limp mode until transmission temp goes back to normal

If ScanGauge & AeroForce could not read the 2007 - 2010 auto trans temps, not sure how the Drive app can?

Yes, done. But that still doesn't give me (us) a good indication of the temperature, before it's to hot....

hehehe . Hence I asked. I think the pre-2010 JK's just don't have the right information in the computer..so from what I understand you need to add a separate gauge and transmitter. But I love to be proven wrong here..
