Once participated in a large car club run to Parkes and a function at the radio telescope. We all parked our cars in the paddock next to the dish and had a big party. We had to move onto the property quickly, then not run any cars till we all left as the ignition systems in the cars could be "heard" by the dish......
Also Lesson learned: Do not open the microwave door before the timer has run out.....aliens may come to check out the source of the Intergalactic Signals.
