Question Hi-Lift Jack

Thinking of geting a hi-lift jack and wondering if you can used it on your stock TJ front and rear bumper bar

Sorry, Can't comment. But ARB do an item part no 203LM, High Lift Liftmate that consists of a pair of straps that hook into your wheel spokes thus jacking from your axle rather than the chassis. Generally much more effective.

I have used my hi-lift on my TJ, caused some grief to both number plates and their plastic surrounds. had to open the back door to clear the spare. Worked fine though!

Aetkey,

I've previously used a Hilift on my old stocker bumers and it works ok.....but just be prepared for them to get a little scratched and dented.
Also it's woth noting that is VERY unsable and prone to slipping - so NEVER EVER get under it when lifting witha hilift.
The Lift mate works ok - but sometime you done't want to lift the wheel....

your next challenge will be mounting it
