Font display in AJOR

When the new colour scheme arrived I was one of those who "complained" because I couldn't read the text anymore. I had a 19" Sony Bright Screen and the fonts didn't have enough definition against the background.

Fiddling with some settings again for a new monitor, this time an NEC 20" widescreen (same panel as the Apple 20" but half the price!) and discovered this setting:

Go to the display properties
Go to the Appearance Tab
Choose the effects button
Change the smoothing of the screen fonts from "standard" to "clear type"
Apply the settings.

Front screen text is still a bit hard to read but the posting text itself is now very clear.

Clear Type is the way to go with LCD's,much nicer.
