Not bad piper, where were you before when we were discussing this in another thread??? Would've been much easier with 1L bottles and only a bit extra for shipping. Anyway, too late now, I got the 20L drum.

Default Transfer Case MobilFluid 424 - Sydney

Now I have plenty of this stuff, what's the highest duty cycle to replace transfer case oils in people's opinion, is 6000km (when I do engine oil) a bit over zealous??

I'll still take 10 litres off your hands. Have been trying to get organised for Tuff Truck. Will get in contact with you after I get back from the event.

You're right, 6000 k's is too much mate. Transfer case fluid should be changed every 100000 km and if it goes offroad, then every 50000 km.

Personally, I like to be on a more safer side and change every 30K for offroad and 50K normally. Considering the low cost of fluid (even from the dealer) in comparison to the transfer case, it gives me piece of mind as I can check the condition of the old fluid and see if there is any sludge or shavings, more often.

Wow mate, 10L I should just put aside some for myself and James and give you the 10L in the drum. We can always buy another drum in a couple of years time.

Have fun at Tuff Truck, my mate asked me last weekend to go but I have commitments .

I just remembered you saying you didn't want to store the oil at your place. Am happy to take 5 litres off you instead if you like.
Am looking forward to Tuff Truck. I've never even spectated let alone compete as navigator on a team. Just hoping the driver doesn't get me killed lol. He said if he does, then it was probably my fault lol
