Personally ... I dont care if bullbars get banned,

... as long as city slickers and Mr Scrubys bogus Pedestrian Council have to pay a levy - so we get a free tilt tray service west of the Great Divide.

Bloody awesome, isn't it carves.

Funny though, how the problem always starts in the city, but the blitz' etc are always carried out in the country. :banghead:

Maybeeeeee ??? ... If the useless govt cleared the table drains enough, so drivers could see stuff ... instead of having little "surprises" appear in front of the radiator.

... there might be less need of frontal vehicle protection ..

... and less faerie tales about "speed was a factor" ..

It's amazing how many people claim that they have no idea they are illegal. Crying poor because they live in the country. Everyone else is expected to have a legal car. Most 5 post bars are over the top. Having driven and been a passenger in a Ute with one I can definitely say they block visibility.
The bloke in the article has what looks like a hilux, plenty of legal, strong bars available.

There is of course the question of whether the police should be focussing on actual criminals. Not like many people are killed where the sole contributing factor is an illegal bull bar.

Sometimes you have to wonder......how much difference there is being struck by a 2.5 tonne Landcruiser, a 2.6 tonne Landcruiser with a compliant bar and a 2.6 tonne Landcruiser with a 5 post bar?

getting swatted by 2.5+ tonnes of rolling steel is going to hurt, bull bar or not.

This ^^^.

IMO, It's simply a reason for some sad excuse for a uni graduate, or brain dead polly trying to justify his salary, with nothing else to do, who don't realise there is actually life beyond the speed limit signs on the edge of Sydney, thinking if they kiss the arses of the city masses they're guaranteed a seat next election.
Guess what, dipshits... there is more of us in the bush than you farkin suits in the city...

The closest thing to A DANGEROUS animal, the powers that be have to contend with, is our humble pigeon.

Even then, it's their lackey, that has to shoo it off.

HAHAHA... speed was a factor.... what a joke. What?? do they want us all driving around at 40klm/h on the back roads 'just in case' we hit skippy or tomorrows makkas???

They have no idea......
