Even when the A dollar was high they still cost about $1300 for a set of 4. Never seen 'em for less.

Cornells have had KM2's 285/70/17 on ebay $300 ea but it was a long time ago.
The $AU dollar has dropped nearly 20c since then.
They've had Cooper STT's for around the $1300 recently (last 2 months).
But their prices are only as good as their last shipment I would guess, they seem to be slowly on the rise.
**edit - just dug out an email from Cornells 8/10/13 - KM2's $350ea, Cooper STT $320 ea

I have been getting a few quotes recently. I live in Melb and was going to buy from Cornells tyres in Sydney and have them shipped. Bob Jane have a price match guarantee and should match their price even from a different city. I spoke to Bob Jane yesterday and they are calling me tomorrow to confirm.
This reduces the risk of getting an out of round tyre and makes dealing with any warranty issues heaps easier.

Nah got a federal 285/70/17 cheap so I will put that on a the spare
