Default Rear Door Opening Dimension

Hi JKers,

Could someone confirm the rear door opening width for a JK 4 door for me please? I've only found conflicting data from my internet searching...

Cheers, Steve

The gap that is the widest you can fit something into the back is 104cm on my '08 JKU. (Yes, I just went & measured it.)

The door itself is wider to cover the seals.

I think there is more, I pack a 110cm stretcher flat between drivers seat and wheel wells, I recall more like 120 across the wells

Oh yes. It is definitely wider inside, but the gap across the opening is 104cm.

Going for the WK2/JK combo?

You won't get your WK2 dirty again once you own a JK.

Needed the data for a client in Bali. Unfortunately there's no room in my driveway for more toys [emoji22]
