Oil pressure guage
Just got back to Oz to find the Jeep when running is registering at the top end of engine oil pressure.
Now I figure its a faulty sensor because with the engine cold, and not running, it automatically goes to the top when you turn the key to accessories.
Thoughts?

sounds like the sensor is bad to me
are the wires going to it ok? not melted together

I went through 2 different sensors to find my gauge is snafu I think... It happens... I have a spare here..(sensor)

In Vic, Sunbury  . It's a single wire sensor. Used for like 100km on the drive home from getting it as the other bloke who owned it never drove it. (Didn't rego it) hence I think it's near new lol.

A broken wire/ bad contact in the sensor plug will do that.

Got it sorted thanks to Rogerbone sending me a sensor. Yeah checked wires and even cleaned it, cleaning it made needle jump around but not resolve it.
See what happens when the replacement comes.
