Yes, but only to what is already in there can they make a selection from. I told them to use the JET tyre size, 245/50R20, and only took them a few minutes.

This site lists all the sizes used on the KK and I went through them all to find the tallest one. Guys in the US also came up with the same result when they asked the dealer what the tallest one in the computer was.

BTW all i found an affordable excellent Jeep scan tool that you can program all sorts of things including Tyre size. So i have done it myself , now speedo and fuel consumption are accurate again.

I bought OBDJscan its software for your phone and just uses the ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII dongle. If you want to change settings you need to buy a license version.
It works very well on my KK, seems to support just about every Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler out there (post 2000 with OBDII).
Gives you lots more info than Torque.

Thats good info. And the money you saved by not going to the dealer helped pay for the dongle and app. Now you also have a good toy to check your system out with, read codes, make changes etc.. Thats what its all about when you own a Jeep.

Cheers,

Glad there is an easier solution out there.
Any problems with the ABS I think it was that others were having when it was still allowed on the Hypertech programmers?

I havnt discovered any problems with it.
But since posting last my "Service 4wd" is stuck on and i cannot select 4wd modes anymore. The scanner gave me the code C140D which is the transfer case shift actuator. Super simple to get at, 3 small bolts and an electrical connector.
Also another win with the software is on my KK Sport you only get "tire low" warning not ability to view all tyre pressures like on limited.
Managed to activate that feature using OBDJscan in TPMS section. So thats nice.
