Gross, LPG! 😂 Mixer style gives me the heebiejeebies, injected all the way!

Awesome XJ by the way. I'd love one in that spec.

How many kms has it done?
Km is just over 200'000km, my XJ in oz is just under 200'000 so not too worried about it.

Well it was considerably misrepresented. The photos were very old, who knows how long. Some minor issues, some a bit bigger but still with what I have paid, and an increased price deduction was worth taking on.

Some points in no order
1. Check Engine and NO Oil Pressure (Found issue, some idiots removed the sensor) **SENSOR ORDERED
2. Indicators don't work (blink once then stop - Hazards work) **STICKY RELAY
3. Horn doesnt work
4. Some cosmetic scary looking rust, but easy solve with cheap labour with panel shop
5. Most window tinting shagged **BEING FIXED AS WE SPEAK
6. Front speakers don't work, also install powered sub
7. One map light doesnt work
8. Need wiper blades (has none hahaha) ** REPLACED
9. Drivers seat electrics totally out
10. Passangers seat electric only go front to back, not up and down
11. Steering wheel out of alignment
12. Oil deposits in the the intake manifold (assume from the LPG)
13. Roof console doesnt work
14. New plugs and leads ** ORDERED
15. Pick up 2nd hand spare wheel and tyre
16. Pick up 2nd hand jack and tool kit
17. Passengers door lock not working with central locking

That much difference between the photos and actuality would have decimated me. You seem optimistic about the car so good on you. Hope it all works out well.

Yes needless to say I was ready to walk away from it, but I weighed it up, and figured if I fix a lot of the issues I am actually still ahead of the market value, plus it gives me a little project to do.

Still pretty clean, humidity and jeep electrical don’t play well, likely ALL of your elec problems are corrosion related.
Nothing too much wrong by the sound of it, now where’s that mod list?

Got some new plugs installed yesterday, which makes her run a lot better.

Took a big trip to Bangkok, ran pretty smooth aside from the air con cutting in and out from cold to noting, thinking it may be freezing up.

Had a guy try and pull the streering wheel for me, and he managed to strip the bolt holes in the steering wheel so will now have to get myself a puller and drill new holes to pull it myself so I can do the clock spring.

Until then the horn is bypassed to a button on the dash,
