BBQ Burgers with Goat Cheese
Ground chuck patties are flavored with onion, garlic, cumin, & steak seasoning, grilled and brushed with BBQ sauce, topped with goat cheese & bacon.
Ingredients:

• 1 lb ground beef chuck
• 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
• 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin
• 1 Tbsp McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning
• 6 Tbsp (Jack Daniel's brand) Original BBQ Sauce
• 3 oz spreadable goat cheese
• 8 strips cooked bacon
Method:

In a large bowl add meat, garlic, onion and cumin. Mix until just combined; pat into 4 burgers. Sprinkle with steak seasoning and allow to sit at room temp about 5 minutes. Place on stove top grill heated to medium-high, or on an outdoor grill; cook for 4 to 5 minutes each side until cooked through. Spread about HALF of the BBQ sauce on burgers and cook for 1 minute more; flip, spread remaining sauce, and cook for another 1 minute to carmalize sauce. Remove from heat; spread with cheese and top with bacon (2 strips broken in half for each burger). Allow burgers to rest for a few minutes before you serve them to retain the juices.
Notes:

Serve on sesame buns with the usual hamburger toppings such as mayo, mustard, leaf lettuce, pickles, onions and tomatoes.

Number of servings: 4
