I've been wanting to have a gps and mobile mapping setup as I usually go 4wheeling with one of the kids and they aren't the slightest bit interested in maps (except maybe sitting on them
) so when my wife sugested we get a laptop I pounced on the idea and bought one before she could change her mind .
Today I spent a bit of time out in the shed trying to make up a cradle to mout on the dash I wanted to make it strong enough not to fall apart yet flexable enough to cushion some of the bumps it's lightly to experiance offroad.
I spent a but of time making a cardboard mock-up of the laptop so I could check out clearances etc without draging the real one out to the shed where I'll be welding & grinding.
