Anyone know where I could find a worked amc 360 for sale alternatively anyone got an idea on who could build a nice 360?

Flexy has a running stocker in his shed.

Doubt youll find a modified engine for sale (I had one 4 years ago, you should have called then).
there's a guy in Adelaide that resleeves the alloy timing cover/water pump housings for AMC V8's, you could check him out as he's very well known in AMC street car circles, he may give you some clues.

Yeah yours wold have been a good buy a few years ago but unfortunately I didn't have the funds back then. I will have a chat to flexy when I get some new tyres off him & see if he still has it. Thanks

Hey toyrox, are you talking from experience? I have looked into an ls1/auto for a drive in/drive out service I could drop easily 10-15k into it? I'm wondering what cost would be involved with dropping a 360 in and keeping the existing manual tranny?
