im not made of money [img]smile.gif[/img] hehe. maybe in the future, if this starts paying for itself more, its more the bandwidth issue which adds to the cost.

I C, i thought there was a way to use Java script and tap onto a existing IRC server..

here is an app that will let you implement it.
traffic is bugger all jimmy as it is all just text based.

The problem with all the free ones is that they will only work on a certain set of IRC servers.
This isn't really an issue if we just want our own channel so that whoever is online can go and chat in real time.

You need to implement this java app on the ausjeepoffroad website and make a page for it. not too hard as long as your hosting company supports java apps.

Then we need to get online (they use IRCstorm servers) and register our channel. ausjeepoffroad I am guessing. Then people can connect to iy either through the web client or the actual mirc program. I have done some stuff on IRC before and know how to register everything and admin a channel, so could do that for you.

Let me know if you want a hand with it all.
