2005 wh jeep cherokee grand limited
2005 wh jeep cherokee grand limited..5.7L hemi.. Son's 2005 jeep was "borrowed" and when found it was damaged and had parts missing. Now sad part is no keys left as not recovered when jeep was found being parted out in "borrowers" yard. No keys left what are options. Locksmith and pay $500 or have a donor jeep to use parts from to start rebuilding/repairing. Apart from smashing into something low on front end damaging radiator support tiebar they then decided to remove complete aftermarket air cleaner take off with hemi covers and interior mirror and throw away key.. Wondering will ECU swap will fix issue of no keys as donor has 2 keys and they work fine. Donor had been sitting for about 2 years and started first go just has SMOKEY motor. Thanks in advance

First need to decide if what one you wish to build. Donor or recovered. Then decide how to proceed.

I think someone borrowed your thread, don’t worry I found it in the KK section. If it had a V8 Hemi I would have considered borrowing the engine. [emoji6]

Recovered jeep is 5.7L same as donor. Assuming when transplanting bits from donor motor will be available however runs like a hairy goat. Smokey as all hell Cheers
