Why are you going coilovers ?

Surely a pair of fox shocks are cheaper and easier to tune than them Bilsteins ?

Once you order the coilover kit, figure out your weights, order coils etc

you would be lucky to get your desired ride height, spring rate with the first set of coils.

and they arent cheap either, king coil over coils are $170 a piece from memory

a pair of fox shocks can be charged with nitro quite simply, and changed to suit without swapping coils.

they dont unload like coilovers do also.

you can get fox locally off sean at abt for around $500 a piece, ready to fit and charge,

dont mean to sound like a wet blanket, i just want to make sure you dont get more than you bargain for with new springs for the rear.

When you say Fox shocks, I'm assuming I'll also need springs as well? My problem is that there's not really anywhere to put the rear springs.

Setting ride height shouldn't be a problem, as we'll be able to weld the upper mounts for the coil overs in the right position to create the correct ride height.

No i think these are a system where its its just a gas presurised shock........works as both a shock and coil....but without the coil. Some of the latest buggies on OL are running them.

Interesting. I didn't know that sort of thing was available.

Unfortunately, I've already ordered the Bilsteins and they'd be on their way here from the US by now. If they turn out no good, I'll look into the Fox gear.

MD i think the edels you can get a coil to go over the shocks, and a mountnig plate for the top so you can basically turn them into coil overs.

Fox nitros, shock only no need for coil, best option in a perfect world!
