Default First Death Wobble!

I had a look over it when I got home. All seemed fine. Never happened before. Only changes made were the Swampers. And like I said after they warmed up and returned to shape (Flat spot gone from sitting) it drove normally. The Swampers don't have much of a life left in them. 33's BFG's or MTR's are in the near future. Do your Swampers flat spot as well Wooders?

My swampers do flatspot, but don't see enough road time to notice.
For example for the Jambo I trailered the swampers up there, fitted & removed up there and trailered back.....

Default First Death Wobble!

Steve I had the same problem a while back before I got the second set of rims. When I changed back to the stock tyres I started getting the death wobble. With the ET's never happened. Got a wheel alignment done and has never happened since. Must be something to do with the way the tyre reacts to the bumps to start the wobble. The first time it happened to me I was doing about 100km/h. Never forget that. Had to slow down to about 30 before it stopped.

Glenn

I don't think yours was the "Death Wobble". Ever seen a cat with a piece of tape stuck on it's paw? They shake their leg like mad trying to get it off. Your TJ was doing the same thing trying to get the GSA's off! :D
