Finally I started the repair of the car last week. I tool most of the parts on top of the engine off and then decided to perform a compression test. The results of each cylinder are 1-320psi, 2-250psi, 3-0psi, 4-30psi, 5-320psi and 6-250psi. I am wondering why the compression of cylinder 3 is zero. is it could be something with piston or valves? or else I have missed something? I'll keep you updated how things going.
Thank you!
Mate....that engine is suffering some serious issues...you need a professional Diesel Mechanic to look at that...unless...you are well and truely skilled in Diesel Engine work....to be blunt...that engine is stalked and in need of a MAJOR overhaul...no simple backyard 2-3 hour fix there....hats off if you have the skills and tools required.....even if its 'simply' a valve issue...and I say that very tongue in cheek...you need a Professional Engineering shop to machine the heads...may as well get them to remove, resurface/face the valves and decks...no small job there mate....sorry for the sad outlook Ive given....PK Chewing gum and a Phillips Head Screwdriver aint fixing that.

Good advice!
Sounds like dropped valves & so has broken pistons.
More than basic mechanical ability will be needed.
May need a replacement engine. Probably not worth repairing.
Not hurting having the guy pull it to pieces, good learning exercise.

I'd be taking the EGR diffuser tube off the inlet manifold & having a look at the valve stems with a camera type tool while rotating/turning the engine by hand. You may or may not see a problem with the inlet valves. If the injectors are out you could also use the camera to have a look at the pistons.

Cheers

Reading the OP's original post the engine has a very long list of symptoms leading to indicate more than just a 'faulty valve' of any kind....I suppose looking at things will be a learning curve if nothing else

How did you do a compression test on this engine ???

I would have done a bleed back test first myself but since you have lifted the lid thats not possible...........

You certainly need a WSM, while they aren't the greatest they do hold some good info even if a pain to try and read, I print out the section that Im interested in, so much easier............... You need to have a decent code reader, something that will read Chrysler codes, AlphQBD or JScan are the most common used , reliable and cost effective.

The tips of the injectors will show if you have major failure. Same goes for the GP's. To do the compression test, all of either must have been removed.
If they all look fine, its probably not a dropped valve, so off with the head!
If a damaged GP or injector, its engine out.

I am just about to attack a similar problem MY14 diesel with bubbles in header tank, no water in oil and no oil in the water, performed compression test, 5 out of the 6 were 380-400psi, 1 was 320psi, I cannot find any info regards to ideal compressions, manual only mentions maximum difference between cylinders 73psi, I think that is a lot but mine is borderline, so will be removing the head with the low reading.
Good thread guys and great advice...
