mate i've done a couple of long hauls with the camper on the back. had the back chock-a-block without taking the seats out. i put the fridge up hard against the front seats (even though it was a bit of an uphill slant) and then worked back from there. kept the toolbox (bloody heavy) on the flat and stacked stuff in wherever i could get it. one thing with the rear doors and the tailgate, you can get at everything no matter where you stack it. it can be done o.k. without building a flat floor and taking seats out. we found it useful leaving them in, bcause in towns we stopped at we could move a bit of gear out once we had the camper set up and take people we met sightseeing with us, four in the car..but it's your call , depends on what you want to do. can't help with the floor thing. but we found we didn't need it. cheers.
